Blackjack is a game played with various options given to the player. Some of the most commonly used terms in the blackjack game are hit stand, double down etc.

Hit means the player has to take another card. The signal of hit is given by touching the finger on the table. Stand means the player is not allowed to take any more cards. They are asked to stick or stay. In double down, the player is allowed to raise the bet to a maximum of having double the value of the original bet. The bet can be doubled and the card can be made the first card of the hand in a split in blackjack. Giving up the hand after forfeiting half the portion of the bet is known as surrender. Most casinos demand to have hand signals for showing these options to other players. This is intended at having a record of each motion.
