Cheating does occur in online poker. Two types of cheating viz., active and passive cheating may exist. The value bets are maximized in active type and the poker sites with their automated software can always find the one who is involved in this type of betting. Players by working in teams try to put out the other players. The second type of cheating is commonly referred to as collusion where in the cards are shared among the players and one makes a better choices at the time of odds. One cannot easily identify it. At times the software may be used to identify the opponent’s cards.
