Like the name suggests, an octagonal poker table has eight sides. It is basically found in casinos and is suitable for eight players. Every player has an own cup holder, ashtray holder and chip organizers. Adequate space is required for the comfort of the players.

Octagonal poker table should be strong and very stable and comes in a variety of color, red, black depending on taste and colors of the chip organizers. It should be at least 50 inches across with a diameter of nearly 48 inches. This gives enough space to display cards. The tables used in casinos are more professional than those used at home. The home table size is almost half those in casinos.

The table’s legs are guarded with ‘Sur-Lok’ to prevent it from collapsing during play. Matching chairs and cards is not mandatory however. The octagonal poker table is designed using respectable furniture. They should be well taken care of since they are very costly.
